Catherine
& Todd's Scottish Wedding
From the first glimpse of the castle, we knew our wedding dreams were about to come true. Dirleton Castle was everything Todd and I could have hoped for. And we couldn't have done any of this with out Tracy and Scottish Wedding Consultants.
The first wasn't that hard to work out, but the thought of a castle wedding seemed like only a dream. Todd and I have always shared an interest in Celtic and medieval history, so a castle wedding was something we had hoped for. Over the next six months, I think I e-mailed Tracy about once a day (no joke), and she was immediate with her responses. She was patient even with my most obscure and ignorant questions! We got everything arranged, from getting a steamer for my wedding dress to hiring a taxi for Todd and I once we arrived in Edinburgh.
The big day came, and Tracy was there to make sure everything went of with out a hitch. IT was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! The weather was cooperative, the photographer and videographer (Roman and Steve respectfully) were excellent. Ian the piper was charismatic and played the pipes beautifully. At one point during pictures after the ceremony, He went into the vaults of the castle and played. The sound of the bagpipes echoed off of the walls, and you had no idea where he was. Everyday I wish I could go back and relive that day. It was the most magical day of my life. Todd and I have Tracy and Scottish Wedding Consultants to thank for making our wedding day a day we will remember always.
