One day in late November, 1997, I searched for some castles on the web. One website had an advertisement about getting married in the castle. I thought "wouldn't that be a wonderful way to get married and have a honeymoon!" That following January of 1998, Dan proposed to me.
And then I remembered the castle idea. Dan thought it was a great idea, and he said we would be the most notorious bride and groom in either family if we got married in Scotland.
When we told our families about where we wanted to get married, they were very happy for us. Twelve people came with us to celebrate our wedding. It was the most wonderful, most magical time of our lives! Every thing was perfect....the rooms, the flowers, the chapel, the piper, the cake, the reception, the whiskey....everything. And it was all because of Yvonne. We are planning on going back to Scotland soon and staying at Dalhousie to relive the old memories and create some new ones. Personally, we cannot wait to do that!"

I was so excited! We talked about where to get married. We were living
in Oklahoma, but I was from Texas and he was from Louisiana, so we were
trying to decide which was the best location.

found Yvonne over the web and she helped me every step of the way. It
was so easy!
