I've always known "traditional" weddings were not for me!

"..When I was a child I imagined unusual and romantic ways to exchange vows with my future husband.

I wanted to be different, somewhat spontaneous and very fun. I knew I would never wear the big white dress or ask the question "chicken or fish"....

For years I thought Las Vegas was the only choice... but runaway weddings in Las Vegas have become commonplace, the freshness forever lost.

The search for the perfect place continued...

Sean and I began our search on the internet and discovered the rich beauty of Scotland! It was instant. The second we saw the landscapes and architecture, we knew it was a place meant for special memories.

The next step was to find the PERFECT wedding consultant to help with location and arrangements.

We got married at Borthwick Castle on the four year anniversary from the day we met. It was early September and it was a beautiful, sunny, eighty-five degree day!

The entire process, from room reservations, to the groom's buttonhole was perfectly flawless....

Yvonne made sure the flowers were delivered, on time, and that they were exactly as I had hoped... she joined us at the Kilt Hire and insisted on only the best... she even noticed details I would have missed!

We loved our Minister... the piper was amazing (a wealth of information!)..... the photographer and videographer were absolute professionals. I felt relaxed in no time! (Not to mention the speed with which we received our proofs!) The cake was perfect, and delicious.... the flowers were fresh and beautifully arranged... even the trip to the Registrar was something we will always remember!!

I would like to go back and do it all over again! It was difficult to let the dream end when it was time to head off on our honeymoon!!
