Not wanting a standard wedding, with a We had visited Scotland before and loved the place dearly. But how do you arrange for a photographer, the wedding bouquet, hairdresser, restaurant, etc. in Edinburgh when you live in Holland? We were happily surprised to find the Scottish Wedding Consultants on the Internet, and although a little cautious (we knew as little of them as we knew of photographers in Scotland!), the first contacts made us decide to put the arrangements in the hands of Yvonne. A She showed us the sites she had in mind for our wedding (restaurant, Carlton Hill, etc.) and our enthusiasm grew. With only ten of our closest friends and relatives we enjoyed three days of Edinburgh beauty, concluded by the wedding on May 25th 1998. Yvonne was firmly in control the entire day from the hairdresser and beautician to the wedding bouquet, photographer, the ceremony and afterwards first drinks with complementary wedding cake and dinner. Even the weather was great!
After the wedding the both of us toured Scotland for three more weeks and went home convinced we had had the best wedding possible.
We had great wedding pictures and stories of "our" wedding consultant to prove it.

you don't like, we were looking for the possibility to get married in
Scotland; land of Magic and Whisky.
week before our wedding was to take place we had a meeting with Yvonne
in Edinburgh which washed away our last doubts ("will she show, or are
we in trouble?").
She
made sure that we had a wonderful day that was everything we wanted it
to be without any worries at all.
