After having first come in contact with each other via a Bruce Springsteen message board, it was only fitting that we would come up with our wedding plans on the Internet as well. When we first came across the SWC website, we were impressed by the professionalism of it and won over by all the great testimonials from successful clients in the past.

Both Barbara and I really took to the idea of having a castle wedding in Scotland. It sounded like a
very romantic way to get married. Having a Scottish born father and a Scottish-American mother, this sounded like a dream come true, to get married in the land of my ancestors.

Barbara, who enjoyed our visits to the local Highland games and our great vacation to two very Scottish places last summer, Nova Scotia (New Scotland) and Prince Edward Island, was already
interested in visiting Scotland before we decided to get married there.

Yvonne was a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. She answered all of our questions and was very helpful throughout the process. All of our concerns were put to rest by the friendliness and timeliness of our calls and emails with her.

She arranged everything for us, from our room the night before in Edinburgh to our dinner the night of our wedding at Dalhousie Castle. With Barbara's dress and my kilt and doublet already shipped over ahead of time, all we basically had to do was show up.

Our wedding day turned out to be a fantastic day with sunny skies and mild temperatures. To the tune of Highland Cathedral, Barbara was led into the chapel by Iain our piper and what a stunning sight she was. My beautiful bride lit up the room with her smile and incredible gown.

After the ceremony, we were led outside by the piper to take pictures around the castle in what was a spectacular day. I even got a chance to play Iain's pipes for my new wife.

From the cake cutting to the toasts, to Iain's great stories, our day was perfect. Walking around the castle grounds after our dinner later that evening, we were smiling from ear to ear, so happy to have had such a wonderful day.
