As I grew older, the words "little and inexpensive" grew more appealing to me (not to mention Chuck has always wanted "little and inexpensive"). When we decided that we wanted to vacation in Scotland and get married at around the same time, reality settled in .we could not do both, at least not the way we would like. When we heard about the possibility of marrying in Scotland, we became VERY interested. In my search for the "perfect consultant", I found a handful of different websites and emailed all of them. Steve and Yvonne were the only ones to reply.
Everything was explained clearly and all my questions were answered right-away. Before I knew it, all the planning for my fairy-tale wedding was done and I had not been stressed-out once! All that was left to do was show up in Scotland. Things only got better once we arrived: We brought 12 family members over with us from New Hampshire and Maine (and one from London). The day before the wedding Yvonne and Tracy, without complaining, brought each and every one of us around Edinburgh and over to Borthwick Castle to get everything situated for the day of the wedding. Poor Yvonne had four cars following her, all with American drivers who were unfamiliar with driving on the left side of the road and going clockwise through roundabouts! I truly appreciated how she handled the situation.
Our honeymoon (without the family or course!) continued on for another 10 days. We traveled around Scotland and saw just how beautiful the country really is. I just want to thank everyone involved. They were my "perfect consultants" and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a fairy-tale wedding in a beautiful country.
