When you visit the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel you can be sure of a
warm
welcome, in the peace and tranquility of a beautifully restored Scottish
Country House.
Situated in the breathtaking Borders countryside, on the banks of the
Tweed, the hotel lies next to the historic ruins of Dryburgh Abbey.
The
Dryburgh Abbey Hotel is owned and managed by the Grove family, who have
over a hundred years experience in providing hospitality.
You
can enjoy the fine service and hospitality at the table, in either formal
yet
tranquil setting of the Tweed
restaurant, overlooking the river, or the bistro-style ambience
of the Courtyard Bar.
The restaurant menu changes daily to reflect the sheer abundance and
quality of local produce. From freshly caught salmon to haggis in a
whisky cream sauce, or a superb rack of lamb, all meals are prepared
with style and imagination.
While
the exterior is a delightful old country house, the interior has been
designed with modern comforts in mind.
You can unwind in either of two relaxing lounges, or take things easy
in the comfort of your
own bedroom.
With elegant decor, all rooms are furnished and equipped to the standards
you'd expect from a leading hotel, and to celebrate our location, each
is named after a 'salmon fly'
Dryburgh
Abbey Hotel is always ready to offer you a warm Scottish Welcome!

"...I
spoke to several consultants……We liked Yvonne the best because
she let you make your wedding yours. The other services had packages
(no deviations)... I asked Yvonne for references and also called
the Chamber of Commerce in Edinburgh. All had wonderful things
to say about her and her business!"
